Woman attempts suicide at her boyfriend's house, sustains 90 percent burns

KOCHI: A woman suffered severe burns after attempting suicide by setting herself ablaze after arriving at her boyfriend’s house. The incident took place today around 2:30 PM in Srimoolanagaram in Kalady, Ernakulam.

The woman has been identified as Neethu, a native of Karayamparambu, Chengamanad. She is married and a mother of two children. Neethu sustained 90% burns and is currently undergoing treatment on a ventilator at the Medical College Hospital.
