Plus Two student arrested for sexually abusing classmate

ALAPPUZHA: A Plus Two student was arrested for sexually abusing his classmate. The arrested is Sreeshankar (18) of A N Puram. He brought the 16-year-old girl home asking her to help him in his assignment. The locals who noticed this informed the police. The incident occurred the other day.

The police filed a POCSO case against the accused after subjecting him to a medical examination. The police had also filed a case against him months ago for bringing a gun to school and threatening and beating other classmates. At that time, Sreeshankar was given a warning and released on the grounds that he was a minor. However, he faced disciplinary action from school. After that, a complaint was filed against Sreeshankar for using caste-based abuse against the teacher when he returned. He was then suspended. Sreeshankar was allowed to return to school with the intervention of student organizations after months.
