Mammootty supremacy in prestigious London film school; video goes viral

2024 was a surreal year for Malayalam film industry. Many movies from Kerala got wider attention and even awed global audiences. One among the list was the 2024 February release ‘Bramayugam’. The movie that brought an unexplored folk horror genre to mollywood brought the best out its septuagenarian lead actor. More than its box office success, the movie got talked about and the lead actor Mammootty, as always, turned out to be an enigma for cinema enthusiasts.

Just one day back, many were stunned to see the movie being played inside a classroom in London. The movie was used as a sound design case study at Creative Arts University in London and was included in their curriculum. The information came to light when a student shared it on Instagram, and in no time, the video went massively viral.

Director Rahul Sadasivan shared it as an Instagram story with the caption 'Bramayugam movie at UK film school'.
