THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MP Shashi Tharoor has stated that he stands by his remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the United States and the industrial atmosphere in Kerala. Tharoor, in his article, mentioned that Modi's US visit is promising and that the system enabling businesses to start within two minutes in Kerala is a remarkable transformation.
He emphasized that he is someone who acknowledges the good when governments, whether central or state, do well, and criticizes them when they do wrong. "Investment is essential for the future of our children. We need enterprises. Some matters should be viewed beyond politics. People in Kerala have seen a lot of politics, but they haven't seen enough development," he said.
"I have stated my points based on all available data. The opposition leader should read my article. Earlier, a particular group focused only on creating obstacles, but now they are taking action, and that cannot be ignored," Tharoor pointed out.
He stressed that politics should be set aside when thinking about the welfare of the people. It makes no sense for the opposition to dismiss everything the ruling party does as wrong, Tharoor clarified.
