Hacked by husband, woman succumbs to injuries in hospital

THRISSUR: A woman undergoing treatment after hacked by her husband during a family dispute, has succumbed to her injuries. The dead is V V Sreeshma Mol (39) of Mala Ashtamichira. Sreeshma was hacked by her husband Vasan in front of their children during a family dispute on the night of January 29. She had been undergoing treatment since then. Sreeshma died at around 3 am today.

He hacked him on her on her hands and feet. After the incident, the children informed the locals that their father had hacked their mother. On being informed by the locals, the police rushed Sreeshma to the hospital and took Vasan into custody on that day itself.

Two people were hacked in Thiruvananthapuram the other during a family dispute. The incident took place in Pothencode. The two hacked were Rajesh and Mahesh of Panthalacode. They have been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. The accused identified as Kochumon of Charummoodu is absconding.

The incident took place around 9 pm on Sunday. The attack took place while they were discussing a family issue. It is reported that Mahesh, Rajesh and another friend beat Kochumon and in a fit of rage, he attacked them with a knife he had in his hand.
