ADOOR: A man has complained against the repeated crowing of a rooster owned by his neighbour. He has complained that he cannot sleep due to the repeated crowing of the rooster. Finally, the RDO had to intervene. Adoor RDO B Radhakrishnan considered the complaint of Radhakrishna Kurup of Alummoodu at Pallikkal village in Adoor citing as annoying the crowing of the rooster caged in the coop placed on top floor of the house of Anil Kumar of Pallickal.

The RDO then ordered that the coop disturbing Radhakrishnan's sleep be moved to the east side of Anil Kumar's house. The order must be complied with within 14 days of receiving the order. Kurup's complaint said Anil Kumar's rooster starts crowing at 3 am and this is disturbing his peaceful life. Following the complaint, a special team led by the RDO examined the place and the coop.

The investigation team were convinced that the repeated crowing of the roosters caged on top of the building was disturbing the complainant, who is elderly and sick, from sleeping peacefully at night. So, a favorable verdict was given.
