Two Malayali teens including Nilambur Corp vice-chairman's son killed in fatal road accident in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Two Malayali youngsters were killed in a fatal road accident in Bengaluru’s Bannerghatta on Tuesday. Arsh P Basheer (23), a native of Nilambur, and Mohammad Shahub (28), a native of Kollam, died in the incident. Arsh P Basheer is the son of PM Basheer, Vice Chairman of Nilambur Municipal Corporation. Arsh was an MBA student while Shahub was working in Bengaluru.

The accident happened around 11 pm last night. The car they were travelling in went out of control and barged into a tree at high speed. The car's front portion turned unrecognisable in the impact of the crash. Two youngsters died on the spot while two others who accompanied them suffered serious injuries. They are undergoing treatment. The bodies of the students are kept in the mortuary. It will be released to the family after post-mortem.
