Woman riding pillion with husband run over by bus in Wandoor

WANDOOR: A woman, who was riding pillion with her husband on a bike, was run over by a bus. She has been identified as Simi Varsha (22) of Pookkod in Mangampadam, Vaniyampalam. Her husband Vijesh (28), has been admitted to Manjeri Medical College Hospital with injuries.

The accident occurred this afternoon at Thiruvali panchayat in Poonthottom. The bus ran over her who had fallen. She died on the spot itself. The accident occurred when the bike hit the side of the bus. Simi Varsha is daughter of Vinoj in Pookkod, Mangampadam.
