'The past never stays silent', Mohanlal confirms Drishyam 3, shares new post

Drishyam is one of the greatest films in the history of Malayalam cinema. Its sequel, Drishyam 2, was also a massive hit. Following the success of the first two parts, fans have been eagerly awaiting for Drishyam 3. Now, actor Mohanlal has officially announced the third instalment. The actor shared this exciting news through his social media pages.

The post was captioned, "The past never stays silent. Drishyam 3 confirmed!" The poster also features director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor.

Drishyam was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. Along with Mohanlal as Georgekutty, the film starred Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Irshad, Roshan Basheer, Aneesh G Menon, Kunchan, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, P Sreekumar, Shobha Mohan, Kalabhavan Rahman, Kalabhavan Hanif, Balaji Sharma, Soni G Solomon, Pradeep Chandran, Arun S, and Antony Perumbavoor, among others. Most of this cast was also part of the second instalment.

The film's music was composed by Vinu Thomas, with Anil Johnson handled the background score. Sujith Vaassudev was the cinematographer of Drishyam, and the movie was produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.
