CK Vineeth said he did not bathe in the Kumbh Mela because the water was so dirty that he did not want to get skin conditions. Malayali footballer CK Vineeth said that he went to the Mahakumbh Mela but was disappointed. CK Vineeth criticized that he went thinking it was a big event and saw only PR work.

CK Vineeth's words:

"I went there thinking that the Kumbh Mela was a great event. In my experience, it was not at all like that. There was a huge crowd. The believers will have a lot to do there. I do not want to bathe in such dirty water. I do not want to come back itching myself from scabies. What I saw at the Kumbh Mela was the Naga Sanyasis on one side and the people who came to bathe on the other side and their lifestyle. The other group is those who knew that about 40 crore people would come and made them their livelihood. They are the ones who intrigued me. They have done the PR work for so many people to come. But, no facilities have been made to accommodate them. The believers will oppose what I am saying. They would say 'Narendra Modi ki Jai' and 'Yogi ki Jai.'"

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Police has registered a case against two social media accounts for posting videos of women bathing at the Mahakubhamela and selling them on the internet. The videos were of women bathing and changing their clothes. The Uttar Pradesh Police Chief had directed to take action against such social media posts.
