Online media professional found hanging in hostel in Kochi

KAKKANAD: A 25-year-old online media professional was found hanging in her hostel room at Kunnumpuram, Kakkanad. The deceased has been identified as Aishwarya (25), a native of Tanur in Malappuram. She was working as a radio jockey at Inter Dhwani Media Academy in Kakkanad and had been staying at the Vanitha Mithram Hostel for the past two years.

The incident came to light around 12 PM yesterday when hostel authorities found Aishwarya hanging inside her room. The Thrikkakara police arrived at the scene and broke open the door to enter. Her body was later shifted to Kalamassery Medical College. Aishwarya had lost both her parents earlier, and her only sister currently resides in the United States. Her relatives arrived at the hostel late last night.
