BENGALURU: The Enforcement Directorate arrested SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) national president MK Faizy in a money laundering case related to the banned organization PFI (Popular Front of India). ED took Faizi into custody last night from Bengaluru. Faizy is a native of Kanthapuram in Kozhikode.
Faizy was arrested after investigations found that he had violated anti-money laundering laws by conducting dubious financial transactions. ED sources said that the action is part of an effort to disrupt the financial resources of organizations promoting terrorist activities.
