Worker dies after being attacked by bison in Malakkappara

ATHIRAPPILLY: A migrant worker who was undergoing treatment after being injured in a bison attack in Malakkappara has died. Sanjay (28), a native of Jharkhand, died at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital on Thursday morning. The incident took place on March 3 in Malakkappara, Naduperattu. Sanjay, who was on his way to buy goods from a shop, was gored by a bison that had rushed from the tea estate. The young man, who was in a critical condition, was immediately taken to the hospital by the estate staff. Sanjay had joined the Malakkappara tea estate a month and a half ago. Wife: Fathima.
