Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar back with Rajinikanth in Jailer 2? another Malayali star as villain

Rajinikanth fans are eagerly waiting for Jailer 2, which will start in Chennai next week. The first schedule will last 14 days. Then it will shift to Kozhikode.

Theni and Goa will also be the locations. Mohanlal and Sivarajkumar, who made a guest appearance in the first part and won the applause of the audience, will reportedly be in the second part as well.

Chemban Vinod is playing a strong villain. This is the first time Chemban is appearing in a Rajinikanth film. A surprise star from Bollywood is being cast in Jailer 2. Rajinikanth is currently acting in the film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Rajinikanth will join Jailer 2 once the shooting of Coolie is completed. Anirudh is the music director.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Jailer, released in 2023, was a film celebrated by Rajinikanth fans. Jailer was also director Nelson's grand comeback after Vijay's Beast.

Nelson had earlier confirmed that there will be a second part of Jailer. Vinayakan's performance as the antagonist Varman was a standout performance alongside Rajinikanth. Sun Pictures is producing two Rajinikanth films in a row. The film Coolie, which will see Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj together for the first time, is based on gold smuggling.
