Vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar suffers chest pain, admitted to AIIMS

NEW DELHI: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has been admitted to AIIMS in Delhi after complaining of severe chest pain. He was admitted to the hospital early Sunday at around 2 am.

73-year-old Dhankhar is in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr Rajiv Narang, head of the cardiology department at AIIMS. Hospital sources said the Vice President's condition is stable and is under the observation of experts.

Union Health Minister and BJP chief J P Nadda visited the hospital to check on the vice-president’s condition.
