KOLLAM: A 17-year-old girl was found hanging in her house in Kollam. The incident took place at Karimbinkonam in Eroor in Anchal, Kollam. The deceased is Karimbinkonam native Aaliya.

The girl was found hanging inside her room yesterday night. Following this, the family informed the police. The exact reason that led to her apparent suicide is unclear. Aaliya's family members said that they heard her talking loudly to someone on the phone yesterday evening. The family also mentioned that she had some issues with her friends at school. However, no clear details have emerged regarding these matters. The Eroor police have launched an investigation into the girl's death.
