'Prithviraj asked why I was not considered for the role that Fahadh did'

Lal Jose started his film career as an assistant director. Lal Jose, who worked as an assistant to director Kamal in about fourteen films, became a director himself with the film 'Oru Maravathoor Kanavu'. Later, he has given Malayalis a handful of excellent films.

Now, a video of Lal Jose talking about the incident that happened when he went to talk to actor Prithviraj about the story of the film 'Ayaalum Njanum Thammil' is going viral on social media.

The film was not named 'Ayaalum Njanum Thammil' at that time. Initially, I went to actor Prithviraj to talk about the story. Diamond Necklace was released at that time. Then Prithviraj first asked me. 'Laletta, why didn't you consider me for the character called Doctor Arun Kumar when you were making the film Diamond Necklace?'

Fahadh has done it perfectly. But when we were thinking about a film together, Raju asked why his face didn't come to Lalettan's mind when the story came up. I said, I now realise that it is a character that Raju could have done.
