FLORIDA: Stranded NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, will return to earth on March 19th. SpaceX's Crew-10 passengers will arrive at the International Space Station at 9 am tomorrow. Sunita Williams and her team will welcome the new passengers. The launch of Crew-10 Dragon spacecraft mission was postponed the previous day after a technical fault was discovered at the launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center.
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore arrived at the space station on June 5 aboard the Boeing Starliner spacecraft. The plan was to arrive at the International Space Station on June 6 and return on June 13. Though this spacecraft has made two previous trips to the ISS, this was the first experiment carrying humans.
The first return trip was scheduled for June 13. It was later postponed to June 26 but to no avail. Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore were unable to return from the International Space Station due to problems with the Boeing Starliner capsule. The Starliner spacecraft's thrusters failed and a helium leak extended their mission to over nine months now.
