Kollam man injured in wild boar attack dies in hospital

KOLLAM: A man, who had been undergoing treatment after suffering serious injuries in a wild boar attack, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. The deceased is Kollam Kovoor native Babu (54). Babu was attacked by a wild boar on March 4. He was travelling with his friend on a motorbike when the incident happened.

At around 10.30 PM, Babu and his friend were returning home when the wild boar hit the bike. Both of them fell on the ground and Babu sustained a serious injury on his head. Following this, he was taken to Kadakkal Taluk Hospital. He was later shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College after his condition worsened. He breathed his last in the morning.
