PALAKKAD: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old girl died after brushing her teeth with rat poison in paste form. The deceased is Neha Rose, the daughter of Palakkad Attappadi native Lithin and Jomariya. She had been undergoing treatment at the SAT Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident took place on February 21.

The poison entered the three-year-old's body after she mistakenly brushed her teeth with the rat poison, thinking it was toothpaste. The girl, who was initially taken to a hospital in Palakkad for primary treatment, was later shifted to the SAT Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The child's death was confirmed this afternoon.
