Not even stray animals safe; 23-year-old Bihar native rapes dog in Bengaluru; caught by animal lover who came to feed strays

BENGALURU: A Bihar man sexually assaulted a stray dog. The shocking incident has been reported in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The incident took place on Friday morning. The dog was molested by a 23-year-old daily wage worker.

The local animal lover who reached the spot was the first to witness the horrific incident. The dog was lying injured. The accused had injured the dog's private parts. Seeing this, the woman immediately raised her voice. Hearing the noise, other animal lovers in the area reached the spot and caught the man.

The injured stray dog ​​was immediately given first aid. Later, it was sent for specialist treatment. The accused was handed over to the Jayanagar police. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The man committed such an act while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. This is not the first such incident. The animal welfare activist says that she has seen the accused indulging in similar acts in the past but he escaped that day.

The incident has angered locals and animal lovers. They are demanding strict action against the accused. Pictures of the injured dog are being circulated on social media. Authorities said they are investigating the incident in detail.
