NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Pakistan is the epicenter of turmoil. Modi, who welcomed the criticism against him, said that US President Donald Trump is his dear friend. 'The terrorist mindset is deeply rooted in Pakistan. The whole world is aware of that,' Modi said in the podcast interview.
'Pakistan is nurturing hostility. It is not only troubling India but the whole world. India has made peace efforts many times. They should learn from their mistakes. They should choose the right path. Even though there are different opinions, the effort is not to get into disputes with China.'
'Trump is putting forward the slogan of America first. Mine is India first. Trump's approach is in line with my principles. I am not afraid of criticism. That is the spirit of democracy. There was a false campaign against me in connection with the Godhra riots. I grew up in a poor environment. I have never seen poverty as a hardship. I have accepted every stage of life with gratitude," Modi said. The interview was conducted by American computer scientist and prominent podcaster Lex Fridman.
Stab at Leftist organizations
Leftist organizations are calling for 'unite the workers of the world'. The RSS's labour organization, BMS, says 'Workers..unite the world'. Modi said that it was his good fortune to work as part of the RSS. "It was there that I learned the purpose of life and the values of selfless service. RSS works in the fields of education and health worldwide."
45-hour fast
Lex Fridman told Modi that he came after fasting for 45 hours in honour of getting the opportunity to interview him. He also stated that it was one of the most emotional and powerful interviews of his life. Modi responded that fasting is a scientific process.
English and Hindi version
In the three-and-a-half-hour podcast, Modi spoke in Hindi and English. However, with the help of AI, Fridman prepared a version in which Modi spoke entirely in English and posted it on X. A Hindi-only version was also prepared.
