TEL AVIV: A sharp disagreement over the second phase of the ceasefire agreement has led to Israel’s intense airstrike on Gaza.

Nearly 400 people were killed in the attack carried out on Tuesday morning. Among the dead are Hamas government leader Issam al-Dalis, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Ahmed al-Hatta, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Ministry Mahmoud Abu Watfa, and Director General of Internal Security Bahjat Abu Sultan. Their residences were destroyed in the attack. Many women and children are among the casualties. This is the first attack since the ceasefire agreement came into effect.

Israel has announced that it aims to dismantle both the Hamas government and its military capabilities. Hamas, which holds prisoners, has warned that Israel has sentenced them to death.

The U.S. justified the attack, while France and Russia criticized it. Qatar, which played a role in the ceasefire agreement, and Egypt, which supported it, also condemned the attack. Iran also criticized the action.

Israel has announced that it will escalate the attacks. The attacks took place in areas such as Deir al-Balah, Gaza City, Khan Yunis, and Rafah. Reports suggest that many people are trapped under building rubble, and the death toll is expected to rise.

Israel has issued a warning to those in areas like Beit Hanoun, Khirbat Khusa, Abasan al-Kabir, and Abasan al-Jadid, advising them to head either to western Gaza City or Khan Yunis.
