KOZHIKODE: More details about the brutal murder by the husband in Engapuzha have emerged. Shibila, a native of Kakkad, was killed by her husband Yasir. Relatives say that he had brutally tortured the woman. Yasir often threatened Shibila with a knife. The accused, who used to come home drunk, used to beat her up. Apart from this, relatives say that Shibila had experienced many tortures that she could not tell anyone about.

Yasir often left the house in the middle of the night, and when Shibila asked about this, he did not answer. It is also reported that Shibila had also been a victim of Yasir's sexual perversion. Earlier, based on Shibila's complaint, she and Yasir were called to the police station. Shibila said that she could not go with Yasir. After leaving the station, Shibila had revealed to the social worker who was with her that she was a victim of sexual perversion.

Yasir brutally killed the woman in front of his daughter. The child has not yet recovered from the shock of seeing it. Shibila's relatives say that this child needs protection to grow up and live safely. The incident that shook the state took place last Tuesday night. Yasir arrived at Shibila's house in his own car while she was breaking her fast. He stabbed Shibila in the neck while she was eating. The postmortem report states that the cause of death was a deep wound to the neck. The postmortem report also remarks that two of the wounds on the neck were deep and there were a total of 11 wounds on the body.
