Kerala Kaumudi 'Power of Women' Conclave will be held tomorrow at Kochi

KOCHI: As part of the 114th anniversary celebrations of Kerala Kaumudi, the Kochi unit will organise the Power of Women Edition 2 Conclave and the 'Amazing Women 114' book launch tomorrow. West Bengal Governor Dr C.V. Ananda Bose will inaugurate and release the special edition at 11 am at Hotel Renai, Palarivattom. V Star Creations Private Limited CMD Sheela Kochouseph Chittilappilly will receive the first copy.

District Collector N.S.K. Umesh will preside. Kerala Kaumudi Associate Editor V.S. Rajesh will deliver the keynote address. Prabhu Warrier, Deputy Editor of Kerala Kaumudi and Kochi-Thrissur Unit Chief, will deliver the welcome speech. Spices Board Chairperson-designate Adv. Sangeetha Vishwanath, teacher and writer Deepa Nishanth, and Sunrise Hospitals MD Parveen Hafeez will speak.

In conjunction with the programme, a conclave on the topic of the Power of Women will be held at 9.30 am. Sheela Kochouseph Chittilappilly, Managing Director of V Star Creations; Malayalam film director and media activist Vidhu Vincent; and Fort Kochi Sub-Collector K. Meera, who was adjudged the best sub-collector; teacher and writer Deepa Nishanth; retired High Court Judge Justice Mary Joseph; Talrop Community Director Fasna C.V.; SNDP Yogam Vanitha Sangham Central Committee Secretary and Spices Board designated Chairperson Adv. Sangeetha Viswanathan will be the panellists. Kerala Kaumudi Associate Editor V.S. Rajesh will be the moderator. Those who have shown excellence in various fields of society will be honoured at the event.
