Amidst Empuraan fever in the state, move aficionados are busy decoding the actor doing the surprise cameo in Mohanlal’s yet-to-be-released big-budget movie.

‘Empuraan’, the record-breaking Malayalam movie is all set to reach screens on March 27th. Since the day of the teaser, fans have been working their brains out to find the actor who vaguely appeared in a Chinese Tang suit emblazoned with a red dragon image.

In an interview allowed to a Tamil online channel, Mohanlal minced no words when the anchor asked the superstar about the surprise cameos in Empuraan.

“Last day Prithviraj cleared the air on the question after many believed it was Fahadh who appeared in the cameo. And now, people are obsessed over the film and a few rumours are linking Mammootty as the superstar in disguise.

If it was Mammootty, we would have surely used his photos in the poster. It is the same with Fahadh too. Why would we be hesitant to reveal their names? So, it is not them, but there are some big names. Yes, superstars.” Said Mohanlal.

Sensing the body features and tightly equating the bodily contours, many zeroed the superstar in a cameo to be Fahadh Faasil. Fans were abuzz after certain Instagram pages fixed it as Fahadh.

In an interview allowed to an online channel, the director confirmed Fahadh was not part of L2E. At the same time, there are new rumours in town about the actor in the suit being ‘Rick Yune’, the 'Ninja Assassin' star.
