'He is fine. He had a small problem. Everyone gets it. That's all. There is nothing to be scared of', - Mohanlal clarified. Recently, when Mohanlal visited Sabarimala, he had performed the Usha Pooja Vazhipadu in Mammootty's name. The Vazhipadu was done under Muhammed Kutty, Visakham star.

News has emerged that Mammootty, who is acting in a multi-starrer film directed by Mahesh Narayanan, has stopped shooting and is in a hospital in Chennai for treatment. There were also rumours that he would go to the United States for further treatment. A response from the star's PR team was also released denying the rumours.
