'Decided to split but together again'; G V Prakash Kumar and singer Saindhavi at family court

Popular music director G V Prakash Kumar and singer Saindhavi decided to part ways recently. The couple came on social media to announce the news with a heartfelt note. GV Prakash said the decision to split was mutual respecting each other’s feelings. Saindhavi also penned a similar note saying that 'GV' would always remain her best friend.

On Monday, both reached the First additional family court in Chennai for divorce proceedings. Both of them told the court that the decision to split had been mutual. The judge postponed the case for further proceedings.

The media were taken aback spotting G V Prakash and Saindhavi arriving at the court in the same car. After the proceedings, the duo left together.

Saindhavi and G.V. Prakash have known each other since childhood. They got married in 2013. G.V. Prakash Kumar is the son of A.R. Rahman's sisters A R Raihana and G. Venkatesh.
