THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar has expressed dissatisfaction over the appearance of posters against VV Rajesh in Thiruvananthapuram. Rajeev Chandrasekhar issued a strong warning to the leadership, stating that such tendencies will not be tolerated within the party. The posters had appeared on the walls near Rajesh's house and the BJP state committee office, prompting the state president to take a firm stand.
The posters claim that VV Rajesh is responsible for the defeat of Rajeev Chandrasekhar in the Thiruvananthapuram constituency during the last Lok Sabha elections. The posters, published under the name 'BJP Reaction Platform,' also demanded action against Rajesh, accusing him of carrying out financial fraud during the election.
The posters further alleged that Rajesh accumulated wealth illegally and called for an investigation into his financial growth over the past 15 years. The posters also claimed that Rajesh caused the party's defeat in Thiruvananthapuram by taking money from the Congress. They demanded that Rajesh be expelled from the party. Meanwhile, Rajeev Chandrasekhar has directed the immediate removal of the posters.
At the same time, VV Rajesh stated that he does not want to respond to the posters. He has lodged a complaint with the Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner regarding the issue. In the complaint, he stated that the content of the posters is baseless and aims to tarnish his image and reputation built over the past three decades as a public figure. He also called for swift action against those responsible for the posters.
