Boy drowns in swimming pool of resort in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A seven-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool of a resort in the district. The accident happened in the pool of Eden Garden resort at Kakkadampoyil in Kozhikode. The boy drowned is Ashmil of Koottilangadi in Malappuram.

The accident occurred last evening. The boy was taken to a private hospital in Koodaranji immediately after the accident, but his life could not be saved. The family were on a vacation in the resort. The boy slipped and fell into the pool, said the police.
