Native of Tamil Nadu held for abducting baby from train

THRISSUR: A youth was arrested for kidnapping a one-and-a half-year-old baby of an Odisha couple from Thrissur. The police arrested Vetrivel (32) of Dindigul in Tamil Nadu from Palakkad. The baby was with him at the time of arresting him.

Vetrivel abducted the baby from the train when the couple was travelling to Odisha from Aluva. The couple immediately filed a missing complaint with the Thrissur police. The couple was taken to Palakkad station after getting information about the baby. The Odisha couple has been working in Aluva for the past ten years.
