On road price of 4.80 crore; vehicle number costing 46.24 lakhs!; Lamborghini Urus with most expensive fancy number 

KOCHI: The most expensive fancy vehicle number in Kerala is now owned by Ernakulam district. The number KL 07 DG 0007, which comes under the Ernakulam RT office, went up for auction yesterday for Rs 46.24 lakh. When the online auction on the Parivahan site ended at 10.30 am, this number was acquired by Litmus 7 Systems Consulting Private Limited, an IT company based in Kochi. The owner of the company, which operates at Lulu Tower in Kakkanad Infopark, is Venugopalakrishnan.
The fancy number is for the company's Lamborghini Urus SUV. Five people were in the field, paying Rs 25,000 to compete in the auction for this number.

The previous highest number auction in Kerala was in 2019. The number KL 01 CK 0001 was sold at the auction for Rs 31 lakh.
Yesterday, Piravom native Thomson Sabu acquired the number KL 07 DG 0001 under Ernakulam RTO for Rs 25.52 lakh. A deposit of Rs 1 lakh was required in this auction. Thomson had also participated in the auction of the fancy number 07 DG 0007. Those who acquired the fancy numbers must complete the procedures by paying the remaining amount within five days.
