Putting the nude video controversy behind her, actress Shruthi Narayanan made her first public appearance after a tumultuous two weeks. Flaunting a traditional saree, Shruthi appeared for the audio launch of Tamil movie ‘Guts’.

Shruthi commanded attention from the moment she stepped onto the carpet. Some of the crew members were taken aback, as many thought her to skip the event, minding the messy controversy she got dragged in.

“I play a second female lead in the movie, and indeed, it was a challenging one. Thanks to director Rangaraj sir for dedicating time to helping me get the nuances the character demanded. I would like to thank everyone behind the movie. Thanks to the media. Please support the movie.” Said Shruthi.

Netizens were stunned by the actress’s confidence and nonchalance to come out of such a quandary. Shruthi is back again, active on Instagram and is mentioning less about the controversy.

The actress was purportedly tricked into a casting couch fraud by a few under the pretext of offering her a role in a big-budget movie. Nude videos of the casting couch appeared later on social media, making it the topic of debate for some days. Shruthi alleged that few people misused AI technology to spread the video and requested people not to spread the videos.
