Ganja seized from hotel room accommodated by film crew in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The excise team seized ganja from the hotel room accommodated by a film crew. It is reported that the hotel room was taken by the crew of the film 'Baby Girl'. Two stunt masters of the film were in the room. The ganja was seized from stunt master Maheswaran of Tamil Nadu. It is indicated that the team seized 16 grams of ganja. The search was conducted in the room where the film crew was staying as part of excise' Operation D Hunt. The enforcement special squad of the excise department found the ganja hidden in a dictionary found in the room.


Nothing suspicious was found in the initial search. In a detailed search conducted later, the drug was found in a book in the form of a dictionary. When this book was opened, there was a lock and a compartment. The ganja was found inside this. Based on correct information, the excise team conducted a search in room number 104 of the private hotel. Senior officials from the excise department immediately reached the spot.
