Missing six-year-old boy found dead in pond in Thrissur; 20-year-old neighbor arrested

THRISSUR: A six-year-old boy who went missing from Kuzhur in Thrissur was found dead on Thursday in a pond near his house. Kuzhur native Manjali Ajeesh's son Abel was found dead in the incident. A search operation led by police and locals found Abel’s body in the pond. The boy had been missing since Thursday evening.

Police confirmed the death as a case of murder. A 20-year-old youngster named Joju from the neighborhood was arrested in connection with the death. Joju confessed to the police about pushing the boy to the pond. It was under his direction that police searched the pond and fished out the dead body. More details are awaited
