NEW DELHI: The NIA is making a concerted effort to make a breakthrough in crucial matters such as whether underworld don Dawood Ibrahim was involved in the planning of the Mumbai terror attacks. Pakistani-born Canadian citizen Tahawwur Rana was questioned for the third day today in the conspiracy case. There are indications that Rana is feigning memory loss, citing 33 health problems including Parkinson's. "Rana is feeling tired. He is responding to questions. However, he is not mentally ill," say NIA sources. After being questioned continuously for three hours, he is being given some rest. Rana is being kept in a high-security lockup at the NIA headquarters. Central forces have also been deployed in the area.
