Agitated owner stabs hotel staff for requesting leave, shocking incident in Varkala

VARKALA: In a concerning incident, a hotel owner in Varkala stabbed and injured one of his staff for requesting leave. Vakkom native Shaji suffered a serious injury in the incident. The hotel owner is now in police custody.

The incident took place at noon today at Hotel Al Jazeera in Varkala's Narikkal Mukku. Shaji, who was seriously injured in the attack, was admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

The two got into a heated exchange after Shaji requested leave for a few days. The verbal exchange morphed into physical blows, and soon Shaji ended up getting stabbed. The hotel owner also suffered injuries in the clash.
