38 passengers stranded in Gavi forest after KSRTC bus breaks down

PATHANAMTHITTA: A tourist group got stranded in the middle of Gavi forest after a bus break down on Thursday. The KSRTC bus they travelled stopped in the middle of the forest road warranting immediate mechanical attention.

The bus that had left from Chadayamangalam with 38 people got stuck in the forest. There are children among the passengers. Despite the bus stopped functioning at 11 am, no replacement bus arrived leaving the passengers on the road for all these hours.

The location also added to the trouble, with no access to the mobile range and no toilets in the area for refreshing. The horrible journey continued to give its perils after the replacement vehicle that arrived at 3.30 pm suffered a damage and stopped moving further.
