KOCHI: It seems like the police have given up their plans to question actor Shine Tom, who escaped from the hotel room last night following a lightning inspection from the DANSAF team. ACP Abdul Salam said that a decision will be made after consulting with superiors.

The ACP clarified that there is currently no case against Shine Tom Chacko. He also clarified that no evidence was found during the search of the hotel. A video of Shine Tom Chacko, who escaped by jumping from the third floor of a hotel at night after learning about the DANSAF inspection, surfaced last day on social media.

The Dansaf team arrived at a hotel near Town Hall Metro Station at around 10.50 pm on Wednesday in search of a person involved in drug dealing. Upon checking the register, they found out that Shine Tom Chacko was staying there.

In the wake of Vincy Aloysius' revelation, the officials decided to enter the room. When the group started moving from the reception to room number 314 on the third floor, the actor fled through the other way. Reports say that the actor is currently at a resort in Pollachi.

Meanwhile, the police are confused about whether to file a case against Shine over actress Vincy’s shocking revelations. Senior police officials are expected to talk with Vincy, and a decision will be reached later.
