CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin claimed the AIADMK decision to join the BJP alliance was to escape from raids by central agencies. Stalin also described the AIADMK alliance as a legion of fraudsters.
“No Shah will be able to rule Tamil Nadu, and the victory is certain for DMK. Tamil Nadu will never allow New Delhi-based rulers to dictate terms. I'm fighting for all states to uphold their sovereign status. We had to approach the Supreme Court seeking a historic verdict, which saw the central government stumbling. I’m not someone who would fall at the feet of New Delhi leaders to get things done. It should be served as a reminder.” Said Stalin.
The Chief Minister also asked whether the BJP would provide relaxation in NEET for students in the state. He also raised questions such as whether Hindi would not be made compulsory and whether it could be assured that Tamil Nadu's representation would not decrease through the formation of new constituencies.
