Migrant worker killed as earthmover overturns in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: A migrant worker died tragically in Paivazhi, Pathanamthitta, after an earthmover overturned. The victim has been identified as Suraj, a native of West Bengal. He was an operator of the machine.

The body has been shifted to Pathanamthitta General Hospital. Another person was also injured in the incident. Meanwhile, three people were injured in an accident when a lorry hit a minivan parked near the Ashanpadi junction in Karakkad. The impact of the collision caused the van to crash into a nearby shed. The injured were van driver Reji, the owner of the stall Murali, and a lottery vendor from a nearby shop. They were admitted to a private hospital in Pandalam.
