KOCHI: Grilling actor Shine Tom Chacko in the drug case is likely to be delayed. The police have collected all the information on Shine's phone. Further action will be taken only after the drug test results are obtained. The police are of the opinion that hasty actions will be a setback in court.

The investigation team assessed that the actor should be called for questioning only after examining the statement given in the first interrogation in detail. The details of the actor’s account should be examined. Based on the assessment that the case should be proceeded with a little more caution, the police decided not to rush into the second round of interrogation. The city police commissioner, who is on leave, will meet today to assess the progress made so far. A decision will be taken after this on when to question Shine.

Meanwhile, the internal committee meeting of the film Soothravakyam is being held in Kochi today, followed by a meeting of the film chamber. The meeting is being held by four internal committee members of the film. The film organizations are responsible for further action in the decision taken by the committee in the wake of Vincy's revelation. The IC decision will be discussed at the chamber meeting and then informed to AMMA and MACTA organizations.
