Man dies as he sets house on fire amidst family dispute

THIRUVANANTHAPURANM: A man, who sustained burns after he allegedly set his house and vehicles on fire following a family dispute, has succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Krishnankutty (72) of Revathy Bhavan in Venganoor.

The incident happened the other day. In a fit of rage, Krishnankutty set fire to his room. The fire was extinguished by the fire force and police on being informed. One room of the concrete house was completely gutted in the fire. Meanwhile, Krishnankutty also suffered burns. All the documents of the house were gutted in the fire. His leaves behind his wife Vasantha and children Sandhya and Soumya. The Kovalam police have registered a case in the incident.
