SRINAGAR: Shubham Dwivedi (31) got married on February 12. He was yet to come out from the reverie of the wedding days when terrorists sent bullets raining through Shubham’s head on April 22 in Pahalgam. Shubham was shot dead by a terrorist in front of his newly wed bride Aishanya Dwivedi.

Shubham arrived in Kashmir on the 17th with a group of 11 people, including his wife, father, and mother.

According to relatives, Aishanya held Shubham's lifeless body and begged the terrorists to kill her too. But they kept an indifferent face and told her that they would spare her life so that she could go back and tell the Indian government how they had killed her husband.

Meanwhile, a video of Shubham spending time with his family in a hotel room the day before the terror attack is circulating on social media. Shubham's wife had shared the video on social media with the caption, "Fun nights."

The family were supposed to return home on Wednesday. They visited all the other tourist destinations in Kashmir and finally reached Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam on Tuesday evening. Alas!
