THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that if people who have started receiving their welfare pensions, which have been delayed for months, are told that there is biriyani in the pot, they will not believe it. He also pointed out that Kerala's survival in times of disaster has surprised the world.

Pinarayi Vijayan was speaking at the inauguration of the AKG Centre, the new headquarters building of the CPM State Committee. "The government is making efforts to make Navakeralam a reality. The party is currently in a difficult situation. There are various attempts to round up and attack the CPM. It will overcome all of them and move forward with strength. The other governments that came later took an approach that destroyed what the Left governments did for the progress of the state. The first years of the Left government that came to power every five years were to regain Kerala, which was destroyed like this. This happened until 2016. Development continuity was maintained later.

Help during times of disaster is not generosity. We are paying homage to the research intelligence that said that the party office inauguration day was found by checking the almanac. April 23 is World Book Day, the day William Shakespeare died and Peralam Martyr's Day. However, we only checked which day was convenient for the inauguration. That is what was spread that the date was found by looking at the almanac. Shouldn't they understand that the Communist Party is not a movement that will be affected by all this?" the Chief Minister criticized. He also said that Kodiyeri Balakrishnan was the one who made the party headquarters a reality.

There will be a continuation of LDF rule in Kerala: MA Baby

Party General Secretary M.A. Baby said that there will be a continuation of the LDF rule in Kerala. "The party in Kerala can undertake and successfully implement interventions that will help the progress of the Left movement in India. The AKG Centre and the AKG Study and Research Centre can create the conditions for that," he said. CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan presided over the function. Politburo member A. Vijayaraghavan spoke. A.K. Balan gave the welcome speech.
