DUBAI: The warning states that the heat is increasing and that there are more hot summer days ahead. The UAE, where many Indians, including expatriate Malayalis, live, has been warned that the official heat season will begin from April 29. The temperature is approaching 50 degrees Celsius. On Sunday afternoon, a temperature of 46 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tawian, Fujairah.

The Emirates Astronomy Society has warned that the UAE and the Arabian Peninsula will experience extreme heat. The warning says that the heat season will last from April 29 to June 7. The hottest months will be June and July. It has been confirmed that the temperature will go above 45 degrees. Last year, the temperature was above 50 degrees in June and July.

This year, the UAE has had little rain, so the temperature is likely to remain high. Authorities say the lack of rain is due to the La Nina phenomenon. Generally, hot and humid weather is expected in the country. The Meteorological Department has warned that temperatures may reach close to 50 degrees Celsius in some places. Although the sky is clear in the main parts of the country, clouds are forming occasionally in the eastern parts.
