Buffaloes attack six-year-old girl in Kozhikode beach, suffers serious rib injury

KOZHIKODE: A six-year-old girl was seriously injured after two buffalos barged into people at Kozhikode beach on Tuesday. Isa Mehak, daughter of Kollatika Yasser Arafat, a native of Mongam, Malappuram was seriously injured in the incident.

The terrifying incident occurred near the open stage on the beach at around 8 pm last night. Two buffaloes suddenly appeared among the crowd, while one of them attacked the children who had come ashore after bathing in the sea.

Isa suffered injuries on her left rib. The buffalo kicked the child's rib as he fell to the ground. When the buffalo tried to attack the other children, relatives and onlookers created a commotion and chased them away.
