Five-year-old boy dies as gate and wall collapse on him in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A tragic incident occurred in Elappully, Palakkad, where a five-year-old boy lost his life after an old gate and wall collapsed on him. The deceased has been identified as Abhinith, son of Elappully Naithala native Krishnakumar.

The accident occurred near a farmland in Naithala. The child was reportedly playing by hanging on the gate when it collapsed. Though he was rushed to Palakkad District Hospital immediately after the incident, his life could not be saved.
