Four Malayalees of Thiruvananthapuram killed as van going to Velankanni collides with bus 

CHENNAI: Four Malayalees were killed in a collision between an omni van and a bus in Thiruvarur. The dead were identified as Rajinath, Rajesh, Sajith and Rahul of Balaramapuram in Thiruvananthapuram. Rajeenath of Kanjiramkulam, Sabu and Sunil of Nellimoodu in Thiruvananthapuram, have been admitted to a nearby government hospital with serious injuries. They had gone on a pilgrimage yesterday.

The van of the group that had gone on a pilgrimage to Velankanni met with the accident. There were seven in the van. The bus was going to Ramanathapuram. The accident happened at Karuveppanchery near Thiruthuraipoondi in Thiruvarur. Veerayur police said that an investigation has been started into the incident.
