NEW DELHI: Air Chief Marshal A P Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst tensions between India and Pakistan in New Delhi. The meeting between the two is crucial in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack and Pakistan's provocation. The Prime Minister had met Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. The details of the meeting have not been disclosed.

Meantime, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi yesterday. This is the first time the two are meeting since the April 22 terror attack. In the 30-minute meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence, many issues including the Pahalgam attack were discussed. Omar's party National Conference also issued a similar statement regarding the meeting.

After the Pahalgam attack, Omar and the Jammu and Kashmir government have been moving in a cooperative manner with the central government by avoiding provocative statements. He had said that the safety of tourists is also the responsibility of the state government. He also blamed himself for not being able to safely return people who came as guests of Kashmir.
